John Gallo Antiques has been in the fine antique business for over 37 years. John's passion for country furnishings has never waned and his fresh-to-market collection shows it. John Gallo Antiques specialize in animal, children and floral items along with painted furnishings. Well known throughout the Northeast from his years selling at the finer antiques shows, John has now put down roots at his new gallery in the beautiful Catskill Mountains of Upstate New York and here on the Internet. Fresh items in his collection will be featured in the Online Gallery as well as the shop at 354 Main St., Otego, NY. John is also well known for his writing and publishing of what many refer to as the Bible of Yellow ware, "19th & 20th Century Yellow ware".

John Gallo Antiques offers an appraisal service and is always in the market for finer country pieces, quilts, animals, yellow ware, stoneware and red ware. The shop on Main Street is open Thursday 3-6 pm and Saturday and Sunday 1-4 pm and by appointment (call ahead). Our Online Gallery is open 24/7 and all inquiries will be handled promptly.
