cats in the house", we have a cat on one side and the house on the other

unusual. The frame is a nice original 19 C frame and may or may not be
the original. Size. 15 1/2"x 18 1/2" framed, 9 1/4"x12 1/4" unframed. INTERESTED? Contact Us by e-mail or by calling (607) 434-2561. $1200 |

Found in Maine is this wonderful watercolor/ possibly some charcoal
drawing of rabbits. It dates Ca 1875 and is signed EAW which is
Elizabeth Anne Walker. There is a date after the signature, but it's not
clear. 7 something. Rabbits in any painting, drawing form etc are not
common and much rarer than other animals. I had this in my collection
for years and like most of my things it is fresh to the market. It
measures 21 x 15 w/ frame and 11 1/4" X 13 1/4" actual size.

I took this great carved horse out of my collection. It is 19th C and the legs and body were carved separately. The paint and stain are original and there is one minor nick on one ear. This wooden beauty measures 11" H X 11/ 1/2" L and would enhance any carved collection. INTERESTED? Contact Us by e-mail or by calling (607) 434-2561. $650

What an unusual decorated tin
from I believe Pennsylvania.. On the lid it reads: J Hall Rohrman,
Philade.
The original painted flowers
and dec are just the best in folkart. There is some minor loss to
paint on the front. I am not sure if it was a bread tin or some
storage like tin, but I am sure it is not common and just super!
It measures 10"X10"X10".

This is a nice large 19th C. carved wood eagle. Pine. It measures 31
1/2" from wing to wing and 14" high. The head was severed at one time
and reattached, but it was well done. It has early paint and some of it
is gone. The charm and presence is still there and it would hang as a
nice patriotic symbol. INTERESTED? Contact Us by e-mail or by calling (607) 434-2561. $495

I
found this 19th C red painted punch tin coffee pot in a local
collection. The paint is quite old, but prob. not original to the pot.
The punched tin floral dec. is very Pennsylvania like. It measures 11
1/2" H. This one is not expensive compared to the few that are on the
market. INTERESTED? Contact Us by e-mail or by calling (607) 434-2561. $595

Out of the attic in New
Hampshire came this wonderful hand painted railroad set, carved for
someone's child. It dates about 1850 and has cut nails, screws and
old sewing parts for the 3 engines. One of the engines has Hercules
written on it and it was produced in Pennsylvania by the Eastwick
and Harrison Co in 1837 to the Beaver Meadow Railroad. One of he
cars has Concord written on it which was in New Hampshire. There are
12 cars to go with the engines, all hand painted with eagles, ships
and other decorations. The engines are about 5" long and the cars
are 4 1/2" to 6" long. This is a very rare set of carved trains for
some lucky child!!!

A great addition to your
painted boxes. This one was found near Oxford, NY and measures 18"L

If you like animals, this unframed O/C is quite folksy. The scene has a
Black man, horses, chickens and a rooster to round out a naive farm
scene. It is signed, T E Bartlett 1906. This late 19h C oil has a patch
to protect a scar on the front over the barn, but it doesn't appear to
go through. It really doesn't detract much when you take in the whole
farm scene. It measures 20"X14".
